[Dec 25th] Community Pancake Breakfast

The Events Committee is organizing a pancake breakfast for all community members from 11:00AM – 1pm (Dhuhur) at the Waverly mosque. We encourage all members of the community to come to this event to socialize, make friends and strengthen community bonds.

[Dec 28th] Fundraising Bake Sale
When: Friday, December 28th, 2012
Time: After Dhuhur
Where: Winnipeg Grand Mosque (2445 Waverely)
A fundraising bake sale will be organized by the Fundraising Committee. The fundraising will take place after Jumma prayers. Variety of food items will be available. All proceeds will go to mosque operations.

[Dec 30th] MIA Fitness Room – Open House
When: Sunday, December 30th, 2012

Ending Time: 2:00 PM
Where: Winnipeg Grand Mosque (2445 Waverely)
The newly established fitness room at the Waverly mosque will officially open on Sunday Dec 30, 2012. There will be an open house from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. The fitness room is located at the northern entrance of the mosque. The room will be available for brothers and sisters on designated days. The fitness room has a variety of sports equipments. Membership fee will be $50.00 per year.

As part of the continuing efforts to improve our mosque facilities, baby changing stations have been installed in the grand mosque bath rooms. This will be of great benefit to young families with young children.
