He has laid down the same religion for you as He enjoined on Noah: that which We have revealed to you and which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: "Establish the religion and do not make divisions in it." What you call the idolaters to follow is very hard for them. God chooses for Himself anyone He wills, and guides to Himself those who turn to Him. (Qur'an, 42:13)

The MIA EC would like to express its heartfelt deep sorrow and sympathy to the tragic death of the members of Hamid Farooq family. We express our condolences to Br. Farooq, the father, and sincerely pray to Allah to give him patience, solace and ease. We pray to Allah to shower the deceased with his mercy and forgiveness. We encourage all members of our community to pray for the family and donate generously by making cheques payable to: Manitoba Islamic Association or Islamic Social Services Association, note: Farooq family.
