MIA Publishes Mid-Year Financial Statements

Dear Community members:

The Manitoba Islamic Association is pleased to make available mid-year financial statements for the period October 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015.

The financial statements were prepared under the guidance of the chair of the MIA internal audit committee, Salman Idris.

As the financial report shows, we are working within the budget parameters approved at the regular Annual General Meeting. If there are any questions about the financial affairs of the MIA, please do not hesitate to contact the MIA treasurer, Eid Mahmudov, at Eid.Mahmudov@miaonline.org or by calling the MIA office at 204 256 1347.

For increased transparency, the financial statement is available in English and Arabic. We are in need of volunteers with a background in accounting to translate it to other languages.
